Without science and technology, man would have still been in the primitive state. Inaword, all the achievements of mankind are due to the development of science and technology.
    Social science and natural science are inseparable from each other, although the former contributes to the spiritual development of human beings and the latter is primarily concerned with the understanding of the world and the making of things. Social science will not develop without the new discoveries of natural science about the world. Similarly, natural science will cease to advance without the philosophy provided by social science.
